A stranger named Dunbar comes to the town of Dry Camp and goes to work at Rich Stanton's ranch, not suspecting that he will become embroiled in a conflict dating back many years. Shortly after Dunbar's arrival, a body is discovered and a fight breaks out, resulting in Dunbar being fired by his foreman. Curious, Dunbar asks around and learns that the dead man had information about a beautiful woman of color who disappeared twenty years earlier. Without a doubt, there are those in Dry Camp who know more than they are telling, and those who are willing to kill to keep Rich Stantons secrets. And Dunbar will be caught in the deadly middle.
