Desperate to stay afloat, Abner takes on new partners who have an agenda of their own: to publish a nudie magazine. Before he can stop them, the first issue sells over 40 million copies, and Peacock becomes the unwilling spokesperson for First Amendment rights. Swept up in the controversy, Abner begins to enjoy the adulation of the masses, settling comfortably into the swinging bachelor lifestyle, complete with mod clothes and a garish, girl-filled penthouse.
